Lake Manyara National Park

A tapestry of woodland, grassland and swamps – tall trees in the ground-water forest and baobabs on the escarpment’s slope. The park’s most famous residents, the tree-climbing lions, may be spotted in the umbrella trees. Over 380 species of birds have been recorded.
