Mara Intrepids

 

Sitting above a sweeping bend in the Talek River, at the convergence of the Masai Mara's four game-viewing areas, the camp enjoys one of the most spectacular locations in the world's best-known wilderness.

The camp is a short drive from the Mara River, where more than a million wildebeest and zebra make their perilous migration crossing every July and August.

Situated in the centre of the Masai Mara National Reserve, on the banks of the Talek River, near one of the major wildlife migration crossings.

Offers a restaurant serving classic cuisine and an elevated game-viewing platform with drinks service. Leisure facilities include a freeform swimming pool with sunbathing terrace, kids' club, bush boutique with souvenirs and safari essentials, game drives, cultural tours of neighbouring Masai villages*, dawn hot air balloon safaris*, fishing trips to Lake Victoria* and lectures and slide shows on culture and wildlife*.

30 elegant tents spread over a large riverside site with modern en suite bathrooms with hot showers (2 adults and 1 child). Two family units (two tents adjoined by a living area).
