Offers alfresco dining, a relaxation area and complimentary internet access. Guests may also wish to dine privately on their own verandah or on the cliff above the beach. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool with sun lounging area, bird watching, reef walks, cave walks, snorkelling, in-house beauty therapist and masseuse. Within close proximity there are three golf courses, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing and dolphin watching.

Accommodation at Tijara
Only 4 palm-thatched luxury cottages, each sited on its own cliff head, offering breathtaking views of the Ocean. Insect-proof king size beds and exclusively handcrafted Swahili furniture reflecting the warmth and character of local architecture. All cottages are provided with fans and safe deposit box and both the bedroom and the bathroom open on to a spacious private deck.

Board Basis at Tijara
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, free wi-fi, hairdryers on request, croquet, choice of board games, bird watching, library and tree planting, plus snorkelling and reef, beach and cave walks, are included.

Transfer Time to Tijara
Approximately a 45-minute drive from Mombasa airport plus a short ferry transfer. Approximately a 30-minute drive from Ukunda airstrip.
