This tour takes you through the breathtaking beauty of the northern game parks of Namibia, home to black and white rhino and to the wetlands of the unspoilt Caprivi where you can see hippos, crocodiles and buffaloes.

You then enter Botswana with the opportunity to see the large herds of elephants and other game that Chobe National Park has to offer, as well as its amazing bird life.

Your penultimate stop is in Zambia for the incredible Victoria Falls. Known locally as 'the smoke that thunders' the falls are 1700 metres wide and the mighty Zambezi plummets 100 metres into the gorge below.

Finally you head for city life and the South African city of Cape Town. Famous for Table Mountain, its spectacular coastal scenery, Robben Island and for its winelands, the perfect end to an amazing journey.

DAY 11 SATURDAY CAPE TOWN

DAY 12 SUNDAY CAPE TOWN
Enjoy a city tour including Table Mountain cable car station where you have the chance to ascend the mountain (optional extra). Overnight: City Lodge Hotel, or similar. (b)

DAY 13 MONDAY CAPE TOWN
Today's excursion takes you to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Simonstown for a visit to the penguin colony and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. (200 km). Overnight: City Lodge Hotel, or similar. (b)

DAY 14 TUESDAY CAPE TOWN-GATWICK
Transfer to the airport (25 km) for your flight to Heathrow. (b)
