Set in the Eastern Cape's beautiful landscape of thornveld, grassland and forest, this vast, malaria-free, private reserve is home to an extraordinary range of wildlife, including the 'big 5'.

The reserve's safari lodge is made up of a series of stone and thatch waterfront cottages set amongst dense bushveld and sitting high in a lovely position overlooking Lake Kariega.

Offers a restaurant and bar. Leisure facilities include a big five safari experience in 4x4 safari vehicles with experienced rangers. There is a spa at Msenge Lodge.

2 Lodges are available. Pumba Water Lodge which overlooks Lake Cariega has 12 luxury stone-walled thatched chalets while Msenge Bush Lodge offers 11 thatched glass-enclosed chalets. All chalets are en suite with indoor and outdoor showers and free standing baths, tea/coffee making facilities, safe and mini bar. All chalets also have private decks leading to plunge pools.
