Real City Tour (1/2 Day)

 

This tour covers the history of the people of Port Elizabeth, and takes you on a roller coaster ride through the various parts of Port Elizabeth, including the city centre, and spends most of the time in the African townships, showcasing the immense diversity of the townships.

Stop off at an informal trading area located in the township, visit a township school where you are offered a township style tea, a fundraising initiative to assist township schools.

Visit a small local craft centre and learn about the various projects helping people to become self sufficient.

This tour lets you see what has really changed since the demise of Apartheid.
