Mdonya River Camp

 

A small safari camp set in the western part of the second largest game park in Tanzania, Ruaha National Park. Although it is a little basic, it more than makes up for this by offering a true bush experience, by boasting a beautiful wilderness area, its proximity to game and welcoming atmosphere.

The culinary emphasis is on tasty home-style cooking eaten beneath the stars, whilst allowing guests to get very close to nature.

Located in the western part of the second largest park in Tanzania, Ruaha National Park, a few kilometres from the Mdonya Falls and an exciting 1-2 hour game drive from the airstrip, Old Mdonya River Camp, in its simplicity, lets you relax into bush life.

Facilities at Mdonya River Camp
Offers alfresco dining and a dining and lounge tent, open-air sitting areas and library. There are two game hides within the camp area, for viewing the many animals which pass through the camp. Leisure facilities include game drives.

11 tents with en suite shower and verandah (2 adults).
