Elewana Sky Safari

 

Travel in style and comfort in Elewana's Cessna Grand Caravan light aircraft, with nine executive club class seats. Road transfers and game drives are in safari cruisers equipped with binoculars, guide and reference books, bottle coolers, bush lunch awnings and power point to charge your camera.

DAY 1 DAILY HEATHROW-NAIROBI
Fly from Heathrow overnight to Nairobi.

DAY 2 ARUSHA
Fly to Kilimanjaro airport. Transfer to Arusha Coffee Lodge for lunch (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes). Enjoy dinner and a complimentary upgrade to a Plantation Suite. (l,d)

DAY 3 TARANGIRE
After breakfast tour the coffee estate followed by an alfresco lunch in the gardens. Later transfer to Arusha airport for your Elewana Sky flight to Tarangire (approximately 25 minutes). On arrival enjoy an afternoon game drive in Tarangire National Park. Overnight: Tarangire Treetops. (b,l,d)

DAY 4 TARANGIRE
A full day spent in Tarangire National Park to enjoy an early morning walk, and a visit to a traditional Masai village. After lunch depart on an afternoon game drive to Sunset Hill for sundowners, followed by a night drive. Overnight: Tarangire Treetops. (b,l,d)

DAY 5 NGORONGORO
After breakfast, a game drive through Tarangire National Park, stopping for a sumptuous hamper picnic lunch. Later transfer to the Tarangire airstrip for your Elewana Sky flight to Manyara (approximately 20 minutes). Transfer to Ngorongoro in time for high tea. Overnight: Manor at Ngorongoro. (b,l,d)

DAY 6 NGORONGORO
After breakfast drive down to explore the Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy a picnic hamper lunch on the crater floor. Overnight: Manor at Ngorongoro. (b,l,d)

DAY 7 SERENGETI
Today's options include a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, enjoying a spa treatment, horse riding, cycling, a tour of the estate or simply relaxing at the Manor. After lunch transfer to the airstrip at Manyara for your Elewana Sky flight to the Serengeti (approximately 40 minutes). Afternoon game drive and arrive at your camp in time for sundowners. DAY 8 SERENGETI
A full day exploring this famous reserve with a bush lunch in the Serengeti. Overnight: Serengeti Migration Camp. (b,l,d)

DAY 9 ARUSHA
After breakfast explore along the banks of the Grumeti River on a guided game walk. After lunch transfer to the airstrip for your Elewana Sky flight back to Arusha (approximately 1 hour). Met and transferred to your accommodation, with a complimentary upgrade to one of the Plantation Suites. Overnight: Arusha Coffee Lodge. (b,l,d)

DAY 10 DEPART
After breakfast you may choose from a selection of activities including a visit to the Tanzanite Museum, the Cultural Heritage Art Gallery or the colourful Masai Market. Transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for your flight to Nairobi (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes). Proceed with your chosen beach extension or return to Heathrow. (b,l)

Alternatively, there is the option to fly from Arusha to Zanzibar on days 9 or 10 for your beach extension.

Light aircraft baggage allowance - 15kg - extra luggage can be stored at Arusha Coffee Lodge.

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking - approximately £500.
