This breathtaking flying safari offers an unforgettable journey into Northern Tanzania with stays in some of Africa's most exclusive lodges.

At &Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge there are ten stilted tree house suites with large windows, contemporary furnishings, overhead fans, mosquito nets and earthy understated features.

&Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, perched on the edge of the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most architecturally spectacular safari lodges in Africa.

&Beyond Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp is situated in a remote valley in the western corridor of the Serengeti. This flamboyant camp, of ten spacious tents under makuti canopies, overlooks a bywater of the Grumeti River.

&Beyond Klein's Camp is a small, elegant safari lodge set deep in the heart of Masai territory in the buffalo-rich northeastern Serengeti. Ten intimate rock and thatch cottages, with rich wooden floors and serene classic interiors.

DAY 1 DAILY HEATHROW-NAIROBI
Fly from Heathrow overnight to Nairobi.

DAY 2 LAKE MANYARA
Fly from Nairobi to Kilimanjaro airport. A packed lunch before your light aircraft flight to Manyara airstrip (approximately 45 minutes). Enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge (approximately 3 hours 30 minutes). Overnight: &Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. (l,d)

DAY 3 LAKE MANYARA
Spend a full day in Lake Manyara National Park, with morning and afternoon game drives. Overnight: &Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. (b,l,d)

DAY 4 NGORONGORO
After breakfast, drive to Manyara airstrip (approximately 3 hours 30 minutes). Met by your driver from Ngorongoro Crater Lodge who will drive you to the lodge (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes). Lunch and afternoon at leisure. Overnight: &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. (b,l,d)

DAY 5 NGORONGORO
Drive into the crater for a morning game drive. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure. Overnight: &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. (b,l,d)

DAY 6 SERENGETI
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip at Manyara (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes) for your light aircraft flight to the Serengeti (approximately 1 hour to Klein¿s Camp or 1 hour 30 minutes to Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp). Met and transferred to your chosen camp. Overnight: &Beyond Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp or &Beyond Klein's Camp. (b,l,d)

DAY 7 SERENGETI
Enjoy an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the camp or take an early morning balloon flight over the Serengeti (optional extra, from Grumeti only). Later enjoy an afternoon game drive. Overnight: &Beyond Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp or &Beyond Klein's Camp. (b,l,d)

DAY 8 EXTENSION OR HEATHROW
After breakfast fly to Arusha (approximately 1 hour 45 minutes from Klein¿s or 2 hours 15 minutes from Grumeti). Met and transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge for lunch. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Nairobi. Proceed with your chosen beach extension or return to Heathrow. (b,l)

Alternatively, there is the option to fly from Arusha to Zanzibar for your beach extension (from £195).

Mara Extension: Overnight in Nairobi. Fly to the Masai Mara for two nights at the lodge or camp of your choice, including game drives. Return by light aircraft to Nairobi (from £585).

(15kg luggage allowance on all light aircraft).

This safari is offered on a daily basis so no allocation is held and all services are subject to availability. If any element is not available, we will suggest the best available alternative.

&Beyond Grumeti River Camp, &Beyond Klein's Camp and &Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge are closed in April.
