Beyt Al Chai is a charming, small boutique guesthouse, located at the heart of Zanzibar's Stone Town. Built by a wealthy Arab merchant as a private home, Beyt Al Chai (House of Tea) takes its name from the days when the building served as a tea house.

The three-storey house has since been beautifully restored, with every effort made to retain the character of this antique building.

Beyt Al Chai is the perfect place to relax and capture the spirit and magic of Zanzibar. It is also within easy walking distance of all the attractions of Zanzibar Town.

Offers five air-conditioned rooms with en suite bathrooms, each of which is uniquely designed. Rich brightly covered organza and silk curtains billow in the breeze around genuine antiques, some of which date back to the days of the Sultan. One Sultan room accommodates 2 adults and 2 children, One Prince room accommodates 2 adults and 1 child; other rooms accommodate 2 adults.
